Join us for The BVAC Classic Festival of Motoring, the premier classic car show in Scotland. This has been held annually at Thirlestane Castle for over 15 years and organised by the Borders Vintage Automobile Club.

This festival of motoring attracts over 1,000 classic and vintage cars of all models and styles, plus motorcycle and military vehicle displays. With the addition of live rally action this year, arena stunt shows, pipe band displays and a children’s play area, combined with plenty of retail, food and drink exhibitors, there really is something for all the family. Well behaved dogs are welcome to join in the fun as well!

This year it is also being held on Father’s Day, we couldn’t think of a better family day out to celebrate the occasion!

Event start time: 11am

Event end time: 5pm

Prices: Prebooking* £12.50 | On the day £15 | Under 16s enjoy free access

Thirlestane Castle will also be open for free flow tours on the day, from 11am with last admittance at 3.30pm, for a discounted ticket of £10 per adult and £5 for children.

*Please note online prebooked ticket sales close on Thursday 15th June at midnight. Tickets will still be available on the door for £15.
