Our next meeting is this coming Wednesday evening, 7th May, at The Peacock in Henton OX39 4AH. Do come and join us if you can.
Let me remind you of a few dates of some of the events coming along (the complete list was attached to recent emails and will be updated again soon) -
Sunday 11th May is Classics at Prescott Hill Climb, Cheltenham GL52 9RD. See www.prescotthillclimb.co.uk/event-details/classics-at-prescott for details.
Sunday 1st June is the 19th Chiltern Vintage Tractor Charity Run.
Here, hardy souls drive their ancient and hopefully reliable machine over a tough 22mile course (some off-road) to raise funds and awareness of the Thames Valley Air Ambulance service (flyer attached). Once again Team Peers will be entering their machines for Charles, Tom and maybe others too. Charles would welcome your support and says -
“My JustGiving page is www.justgiving.com/fundraising/charles-peers5. I don’t need to tell you how important it is to support the Air Ambulance as I am sure all TRs will know this fact, as we are very lucky to have such a service I our area.
Also note that we are stopping for lunch at the Wycombe Air Park for a BBQ and raffle plus a chance to talk with all the participants, all welcome we usually stop for at least 1 ½ hrs or even more, just pray for a good day.”
Saturday 14th June is the Chiltern TR Group Mid-Summer BBQ, at Views Farm, near Great Milton, OX44 7NW. Save the date, full details will be along soon.
