Chiltern TR Group - Mid-Summer BBQ

Please see the following message concerning the Mid-Summer BBQ on Saturday 14th June at Views Farm. Once again, we are grateful to Aidan for making all the necessary arrangements.

Re: Chiltern TR Group Mid Summer Barbeque – Saturday 14th June
After the great success of last year’s event, we are again invited to attend this year’s Chiltern TR Group Mid Summer barbeque on Saturday 14th June, which like last year, is kindly and generously being hosted by Charles & Heather Peers.
It will again take place at the Jack Peers Centre at Views Farm, Great Milton OX44 7NW.
As you will see from the attached details, the timings are a little earlier this year, where we are invited to arrive at 4.00pm or soon after for tea/coffee, where Charles will then give a guided tour of the local woods and fields and answer any relevant questions that may arise.
In turn, the barbeque should be ready to serve at around 6.00pm.
As per the attached, please would you bring your own salads and drinks (and glasses), along with your own chairs (and table if you have one), crockery and cutlery, where in addition to the main course barbeque, there will also be some delicious desserts, courtesy of Julie & Ian.
In order that Charles & Heather can be fully aware of the numbers as quickly as possible, please would you let me know as soon as possible (either by text to 07836-530780, or by e-mail to aidan.coles@btinternet.com) that you can hopefully join us.
On a separate note and as per last year, all attendees are invited to make a donation during the evening toward the running costs of the Centre.
Finally and when arriving, please be aware that the newly resurfaced lane down to the Jack Peers Centre (which will be clearly signposted) now incorporates some “drainage ridges”, so please approach them carefully.
